Prince Avitus is one of the several princely peerage titles used by the Tevinter Imperium, bestowed upon the most distinguished and prestigious magister families by the Imperial Archon. The title of Prince Avitus was first granted to Valerian, a prominent magister during the war against Rivain.
The most notable holder of the title is Constantin, who was appointed as the first Chancellor of the Imperial Senate by Archon Radonis in 9:40 Dragon.
